Race!

So I heard about a race that they are having down in Moab from my boss and I looked into it and it looks like so much fun that two of my brothers, my dad and I are going to race in it! It's an "adventure" race that includes 35-40 miles of mountain biking, 6-8 miles of trecking, a 300ft rapell and 12 miles of kayaking. I have started training for it by going to the gym about 4-5 times a week and riding my new bike :)

Pretty cool huh? It's a 7 year old bike so I got a great deal on it but it is in great condition and should help me win right ;) If you want to see what the race looks like I'll post a link to the video on here so you can see how hardcore we are.

Catch-up

So yet again we are playing a little catch up so that you can all feel like you know what's going on in our lives. Since our last post (yah, october, it's been a long time) we have had some great times and had made some great memories. For my birthday in december I got "Guitar Hero: World Tour" which we played non-stop over the holidays.

It's a lot of fun especially with groups of people. We already broke one set of drum sticks which shows how much we have played it.

On Christmas we got to talk to Adam on his mission in poland. There were a lot of people that wanted to talk to him so we only got a few minutes but he sounds great. He was just made Zone Leader and was transfered to a new area. A little less than a year now until he comes home and he has said that he would like to live with us in our extra room when he's back so that should be fun. Anyway, Sophie got a cool gift for Christmas. She loves the play Wicked and she has always wanted to go to NYC so I booked a trip for us in march over spring break. We are super excited to continue our traveling fun that we started this last year.
