The Secret is Out!!!

YAY!!! we are having a BABY!!!! can you believe it!?!
Well we are sooooo excited! and have been holding it in FOREVER!
lets just say my body/blood type has a hard time keeping babys, so we wanted to be safe and make sure everything is ok before we told!
We found out that I was pregnant before I missed my period.. in November!!
so it feels like its been a secret for way to long!
I know most of you that saw or were with me lately had your suspicions..
and some of you asked me and I lied to you.. Sorry!!:)
Here is the picture/ultrasound of our first visit.. 6 weeks and 2 days.. SHE is just a little dot!
So that was way good comfort that there was a baby and it DID have heart beat!

This is our ultrasound at 12 weeks! YES! another wonderful comfort that she is alive and growing! That was a good day!
(Last time our 12 week apt wasnt so happy... but lets not focus on that!)

She looks like a little teddy bear!

So to top off our WONDERFUL trip to NEW YORK we came home and Monday morning we had our 20 week apt.. And if you haven't noticed..

WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!! YAY!!
So here are some of the picture they took..

To the left is her little foot! Middle is her arm! and to the Right is her leg,(bent down squating)

Below is her face... kinda sceleton look..So as of today, she is 7 in long, and 10 ounces!! WOW!!

Well we are so excited if you can't tell! My due date is Aug 15!
hip hip hooray!!

NEW YORK!!!!

ok ok so this is my first post, so bear with me.. I'm learning how this all works.

So this last week Andrew and I went to NYC!! How lucky am I? Andrew gave me/(us) this trip for christmas! We had way too much fun! It was my first time being there - in the city - and it was way crazy!

Anyway, I'm not really sure what to say on these things... So I will just tell you a little but of what we did. We got there on Wednesday night and checked in, and that was the first time I had ever taken a taxi! I felt like I was on a movie! hah.. Then we just kinda walked around a little and headed for bed.

We woke up bright and early Thursday morning and took the subway to the temple!! That was sweet! I don't know if you have seen the temple in New York, but the coolest thing is that it's right in the city, in the midst of all the craziness around it! But unfortunately the temples out side of Utah aren't as busy:) so they told us that we would have to come back when they could use us.. which was a little weird.. we had never been turned away from the temple before! haha.. But then we went around central park, The Museum of Natural History, and some other cool stores.... and I think that it is time for a picture.....

So far so good.. This is us unfront of the temple...

So then after that we went and walked around Central Park which was cool but it was sooo cold there!! ahh! Probably our favorite part was seeing all these places we see in movies and actually seeing them in life, like it's not just a set! hah.. I'll enjoy Friends a lot more now:) That night we decided that we would take ourselves out to eat at a nice restraunt.. so we did and it was fun..except one part...Andrew got way sick afterwards with one of his allergic reactions, so we spent the rest of the night just hanging around our hotel room which was nice!

Friday - first stop was 5th ave! We stopped off at the one and only Empire State Building! My favorite part about this was that we had an audio guide, so there are diffrent stations on the top and you go to the station and this guy tells you a lot of cool facts and stories about what you see off that view.... Way fun! and COLD!

Then we spent the rest of the afternoon and saw all the fun shops and stuff along 5th ave.

Friday night we went to WICKED!!!! Can I just say AMAZING!! wow! I'm spoiled! This was my 2nd time seeing it.. but it is sooo good! Its such a fun story line and also has by far my favorite music in it.. We highly recommend it!! Oh and Andrew liked it too!! I promise!!

So Saturday comes around and we go to the south end of the island.... saw the statue of Liberty, walked the Brookelyn Bridge, Ground Zero and the new things they are bulding there.. (way cool by the way! I bought a book with all the pictures of 9/11 and what they are doing now with the new memorial.. there will be 5 new buildings there and they have already finished one.. it is going to be sweet!)

Then of course somewhere in there I missed Time Square, United Nations, NBC Studios, the Rockafellar Center, Canal Street, Wall Street and the NY Stock Exchange, Grand Central Station and many more very fun places. It is definately a crazy busy city! I would never want to drive on those streets!! hah.. but way way way fun!

Sunday - We woke up checked out, and went around the city! It was probably the craziest day time square was packed! But then we headed for the airport and fomr about 12-12 we were in the airports or on an airplane! WAHHOOO!!!

Random.. but you have to watch this video.. there are people all over the streets singing.. playing drums but this family way great! This little girl was belting out all these songs and her little brother was just going at it on the drums.. we watched them for a good 25 min! they were cute!
