So since Thanksgiving, Andrew started his new job at J.D Clark & Company in Ogden UT.

Yup Ogden, if you remember right we live in Orem.

74.9 mile distance. WE NEED TO MOVE.

My wonderful husband has been commuting and putting up with my coaching schedule the last few months and not one word of complaint. Me on the other hand... I could follow his no complaining example.

Well I have had wonderful parents who have been letting us crash at there house so we could spend less time in the car, and more time together.

On the pro side, Andrews work offers him a free UTA pass. So to cut down on gas he has been taking the Front-Runner from Salt Lake, or Farmington Station up to Ogden and back.

He has spent lots and LOTS of time on it lately and read many a book on his new Kindle :)

I would love to hear anyone's advice on any areas they know about or have heard where people have lived up North that they liked. Family and kid friendly obviously.

If you know of any places for sale, or rent anywhere from Centerville(ish) to Ogden.

We are currently in a debate on what to do with our condo.

We want to sell, but can't decide what would be best.

If you have rented a condo out, how has that worked for you? The renters been good?
Know anyone in Orem that needs a place to live?

Opinions and advice would be lovely.

Christmas Catch Up!

Below you see my wonderful Father-in-Law. He is amazing. If you don't believe me go ask one of his 1713 friends on facebook. :)

Well Andrew's parents came in town for Christmas and one of the first stops upon coming back to Utah was to go see his doctor. The Webers are jinxed with some bad hearts. He has been having a hard time with some pretty bad chest pains and knew something was wrong, but insisted on coming to Utah and seeing the doctor here so He and Mom could be around family.

Well he was right, on December 19, they took him in to do open heart surgery for a quadruple bypass. It actually ended up being SIX bypasses!

(1 artery came from his left leg, one from his right radial (arm) and several from the left mammary area. He aslo ended up having an endarterectomy.

Above is him a few days after surgery, I think the day before he got home, and below is Christmas Eve. Still to this day I think he is in a LOT of pain, but I was sure glad he was here so we could see him. Kennedy loved to see and play with Grandma and Grandpa Weber.

Her prayers are so cute... "Please bless Grandpa's heart."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!!

My Sweet Wonderful Handsome Husband turned 26! I love him so much!

We went and had a CRAZY game of qiuck bowling with family. It was a blast!

Christmas Eve

Well the last 2 times we have had Christmas with the Webers, we've planned to go spend it up in Wyoming at the cabin but both times someone has ended up in the Utah Valley Hospital.

So since we didn't have the best gathering area we spent Christmas Eve at the UVU institute. It was really fun!

CHRISMAS MORNING
We spent, for the first time ever, Christmas at our house. It was way fun! I am so glad we got the chance. It was way fun to have Adam, Matt and Breanne and their family at our house!

On Christmas Day we got together at the Church to have a family dinner and take a family picture in the gym...

And with a few Photoshop hours... we got our newest family photo. :)

December 26

Happy Birthday Logan and Woody!

Yup that is us with President Eyring!!!! He went and had a private Golf lesson at my Dads work! We got the lucky chance to go meet and him talk with him for a while after he was done!

He is a wonderful man. It was so cool to feel the spirit he has and get to hear him talk.. when it's not in a church meeting. He and his wife are amazing, and I am so grateful for the chance to meet him.

Of coarse Kennedy was to shy to talk to him, but she LOVES him.

She knows all the apostles my name, its her favorite game to look at there pictures. So to actually see him was really cool! She talked about it and prayed about it for days after! So cute!

Love her!

Later that night we went to Classic Skating. IT WAS A BLAST!

Who knew?

On New Years Ever we went down to Salt Lake and went to Blue Lemon... SO GOOD. And we ended the night by going to the EVE celebration in down town.

You know you are old when you leave a New Years Party early to beat traffic...... :)

FOUR

Last Thursday we celebrated our FOURTH Wedding Anniversary!

Can you believe it? I can't.. It has gone by so fast.
This is us 4 years ago, at what I thought was the peak of happiness. Little did I know what the next four years would more than double my love, joy, and happiness..
Let's just say it's been multiplied by FOUR.

Well it was a great day, and a day we will probably never forget it for FOUR wonderful reasons.

1- Andrew got a job offer to J.D Clark and Company.

(his top pick of all the places interviewing) We could not be more thrilled!

2- We got to spend the day relaxing, the job search was over, we could enjoy each other, the kids and counting our many blessing on all that has happened in the last 4 years.

3- We went to 4 memorable places in Provo. That all have a wonderful story behind them.

2 Weeks Notice

Well, two weeks ago from Friday, Andrew got laid off.
He has been working there for 4 years, and since he has graduated they just haven't had room to keep him. So due to company restructuring they let him go.
He got some great experience, and worked with some fun people that we loved. We are grateful for his time, and experience he gained there.
I have learned so much in the last 2 weeks. My testimony has grown immensely. I have seen the Lord's hand in everything, and felt his love. He has shown me how much he will bless you as long as you keep the commandments.
I was on the phone with my sister the other day, and while I was talking to her about life and our current situation, I got pretty emotional. As I hung up, the words to the song Count Your Blessings would not leave my mind. As I went about my day, and then on to the next, I kept finding myself singing the song realizing all the small things that I seemed to look over that I have been blessed with.
I have honestly seen his pouring out of blessings upon us.

Words can not describe how grateful I am for all that I have been given. I am truly humbled seeing how much I have.
These past few days I have been looking at my kids through different eyes, they are some of the biggest blessings in my life, in so many ways. I am so lucky to have such healthy happy wonderful kids.

I am truly blessed.

Count your blessings. Name them one by one.
Count your many blessings see what God has done.

Dominican Republic

We had the wonderful opportunity to go back to the Dominican Republic and see where Andrew served his mission.

IT WAS AMAZING!!!

I think that it was such a fun trip because it was not only fun, but meaningful. I got to see the people he taught, and brought the gospel too. It was amazing to feel the missionary spirit, and see the places and people that I had heard about, and read about in Andrew's missionary journals. It truly was a fun, exciting, adventurous, but very spiritual, and a great bonding trip.

We went with a Jake and Haley Castle, Jake served there at the same time as Andrew, a big thanks to the Castles, they did most the planning :)

They were way fun to go with.. we recommend traveling with them..

Well pictures say more than words, so I had to narrow down the 1500 pics I took. So here are a select few to see a part of our trip.

We rented a car, so we got to drive around and see all the areas, that both Jake and Andrew served in.

Yeah AMAZING.

We stayed with a member family in Puerto Plata. The Father was a former bishop of a ward that Jake served in and

THEY WERE AWESOME.

Truly some of the best people I KNOW. I learned so much from the Mother, I was so impressed by her, in so many ways.

I hope that I can have the pioneer spirit that she had. Made me truly want to be a better member missionary.

( I could have done a whole blog post on the house.... they have a full time maid, who cooks AMAZINGLY, another maid who is in charge of laundry and linens, and a full time gardener.)

WE GOT SPOILED..

Mariluz made us fresh squeezed juice everyday. Infact, she insisted that it be fresh, so she wouldn't make it ahead of time, she had to make it just before any meal.

SHE WAS AMAZING

This honestly was the BEST orange juice I have EVER had in my life.

She is amazing, I know I keep saying this, but honestly she prepared some of the best food and drinks I have ever tasted.

But what I loved most about her was her humility. She was so happy and willing to serve.

While she cooked she would listen to church music. She constantly had it playing in the kitchen. I loved it.

We went to the beach one night before dinner.... No biggy... :)

Like I said, we were spoiled.

So this is sugar cane... SO GOOD.

Its a little like chewing on wood that is juicy and extremely sweet... kinda like a juicy cotton candy...

These were crazy, They were sweet, but it was like eating something soft.. cotton-like almost... I don't know. But I liked it.

La Bandera!

Its a staple meal they have there... rice and beans. We had it a few times.

Mariluz makes everything amazing, it was good. They also have plantains, and they cook them lots of ways. Its like a mix of potato, and banana.. sounds weird, but it was pretty good.

You might notice they also serve avacodo and sweet potatoes with everything.. I think it's because they have so much they need to eat it at every meal... which I am totally OK with.

And of course, fresh passion fruit juice :)

27 Charcos AKA 27 Ponds

We hiked up this mountain, and jumped down 27 waterfalls. YUP... I said that right,

waterfalls. It was some of the most beautiful landscape I had ever seen. Everything was completely natural which is crazy because there are these rock water slides all over the place as well as deep pools to cliff jump into. Our guide took pictures, they aren't great, but you get the idea... and Andrew got some cool video.

But I am to lazy to upload them :)

Then we got to wake up to some amazing oatmeal.. I didn't know it could taste so good, and some more juice.. Spoiled I tell you, SPOILED.

So one day we went out to Dajabon, an area where Jake served right next to the Haiti / DR border. So.. we went and checked out the Haitian Market. I was humbled once again. I have never seen poverty like that. I was extremely grateful for what we have. It was chaos, extremely busy, smelly, loud, and to be honest, pretty sad.

So later on that night the family we stayed with took us out for dinner, it was so good. We literally ate on the beach about 20 yards from the water.

We had shrimp and lobster. SO GOOD.

As if they didn't already do enough for us... So grateful...

Once again, we woke up to an amazing breakfast made by Mariluz...

We stopped by the mission home to meet the current Mission President and his Wife.This is Andrew in front of one of the places he lived at in Cotui and the Church he went to.

We had an extremely pleasant surprise in Cotui.

We got to meet his first mission president, President Cornish. He is now an Area Seventy over the Caribbean and he spoke in the latest General Conference. It was an amazing experience. He talked so highly of Andrew and remembered so many amazing specific experiences from his mission. I couldn't stop crying..

Haha.. so during this trip I took 1500 pics, so this was me.. most of the time....

Sunday was an amazing day. We woke up and went to Pueblo Nuevo for church, and met up with one of Andrew's companions, who drove 4 hours to see him. Got to meet a member Emmanuel, who had just returned from a mission. It was cool to see the ripple effect, of someone he taught and baptized, who has since gone on and served a mission. Cool stuff.

We also had a wonderful surprise of a family Andrew baptized. (who has since moved but came to the church because they heard Andrew was going to be there.) Way cool to meet them. We went back to their house and talked with them after church.

Above is Arturo, the second counselor from the branch in Andrew's very first area, and his family. Arturo recognized Andrew before we even had a chance to get to his home. This area no longer has missionaries which is pretty sad.

Ok, we got some frest fruit off the street, and the orange was amazing, but fresh coconut juice isn't as sweet as I thought it might be.. a little bitter.. hah

So on our last day we went out to this beach. AMAZING.

I felt like I was in a post card...

We then took this boat out on the ocean, and in about 15 minutes.. we pulled up to this little island...

Yeah.. crazy I know.

We played there for a few hours and went snorkeling around the nearby reef. Our guide fed some of the fish some bread crumbs and they seriously swarmed us! Thousands of fish everywhere we looked! I couldn't believe how cool it was! I felt like I was in the movie Finding Nemo.

We were welcomed home by the best fried chicken ever.. and La Bandera.. so yummm..

Thanks to Mariluz for all the amazing food she made us. We loved ALL of it.

This is Andrew making brownies with their grand kids, they were so cute,and of course they loved Andrew... but made me miss our kids like crazy..

On our way home.. It was so fun! But I couldn't wait to get home and kiss my kiddos. And also be able to understand the conversations that were going on :)

This trip was a blast. But it couldn't have been possible with out my WONDERFUL parents who watched our kids while we were gone. We are so grateful, and so blessed to have them in our lives. Our kids love them, and I don't think they missed us one bit :)

Trick or Treating with Two 2 year olds

Halloween this year for the Weber family was a bit low key compared to the past few years..
(better give my neck 1 more year to heal.. haha.) story here.
But these 2 cute cousins got to go trick or treating together for the first time.

Kennedy's Bread

My oldest sister Mollie, is amazing in about ever sense of the word. When she does something, anything really, she does it right! She will research and research something until she knows all about the subject and can do it, and will find the best way to do anything. From raising kids, anything church or home related, cooking, cleaning and organizing to exercising & playing sports, Honestly EVERYTHING.

Well baking bread is one of her master pieces, she has got it down to an art. She makes the most amazing white bread! I can eat it by the loaf! So I called her yesterday and asked her for her recipes.

Yesterday I made wheat bread, and today Kennedy wanted to make bread, she kept asking me "Where bread go?" "Make it Mommy?" while she pointed to the Kitchen Aid. So during Luke's nap this morning Kennedy made bread!

"I did it Mommy! All my self, I did it!"

"Mommy! Bread!"

So when I said she made it, she did, she added EVERY ingredient. She would hold the measuring cups over the bowl, I would fill it up, and she would dump it in.

As you can see about 50% of the flower made it on the table/floor and her pants, but that's fine :)

She loved it, she kept asking "what's this?" after every ingredient.

She had a hard time waiting for it to rise, and then cook but she was so excited when it was done!

Some of her favorite people, Jack & Kate came over to eat it with her :)

Who doesn't love good food and friends?

Yum!

Mollie's White Bread:

3 cups water (1 cup per loaf you make)
2 Tbs Powdered Milk
1 Tbs Salt (1 tsp per loaf)
1 Tbs Yeast (1 tsp per loaf)
1/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Oil
3 1/2 cups flower (beat with beaters) (2 1/2 cups of flower per leaf)
4 cups flower (beat with kneaders)
Knead for 7-10 min.
Rise once all together, until double in size, then divided dough to pans, rise again. (about 30 min each)
-You can also skip rising all together and rise for 1 hour in pans.
Bake 350 for about 30 min
-Every oven bakes different, so watch it until the top becomes golden brown, at about 25, 30, 35 min.
makes 3 loaves (pan size 8x4x2.5)
- You can also use wheat flower for the same recipe just change to wheat flowe, and I would add some honey or double the sugar!
Note: I think we added a bit to much white flower, Kennedy was having a bit to much fun :) It ended up a bit more crumbly than I like.. I was worried it was to sticky, but Mollie said to add what it calls for, then let it raise in bulk, then add more flower if you think it still needs it, it gives it more time to soak up the liquid.

So make it, tell me what you think, or let me know your favorite bread recipe! I would love to give it a try!

Rise & Shout!!

So last night we got tickets to the BYU game from one of Andrew's co-workers. It started late (8:15 pm!), and even though that is our kids' bedtime, we decided to take them. So after bundling them up in about 6 layers each, then putting on our coats, we headed to the game!

It was super fun, for the first half Kennedy could not keep her eyes off the field, "Mommy Look! Fupah, Fupah!" (football). It was cute, she really was paying attention, she would say, "ready, set, GO!!" when they would hike the ball and clap when everyone around her clapped. She loved when the announcer would say, "That's another Cougar.." and everyone would yell "FIRST DOWN!" She loved yelling "TOUCHDOWN" with her arms in the air, singing the fight song, the fun environment, peoples balloons, the big lights, and especially the cheerleaders and drill team. "Dance Mommy Dance!!"

Lucas also enjoyed the game from what we could tell, haha. He does good at football games. This was his 1st BYU game but he has been to plenty Viewmont ones!

Well, during half time Kennedy got pretty tired. She loved watching the marching band but fell asleep in my arms after just a few minutes (which is really rare for her! She is such a light sleeper and won't sleep in your arms).
Lucas had also fallen asleep so we had two sleeping babies.

So just before the 3rd & 4th quarter we decided to head out. As we walked out we saw Elder Nelson and his escort leaving the stadium! I was freaking out! Then once we got out of the gates we saw President Uchdorf being escorted into HIS car! Once again I was freaking out! If I hadn't been holding a sleeping baby I would have run up and tried to say Hi, but we got a good wave instead!

It was good timing because I loved the talks they gave this last conference, and have been reflecting on what a good conference it was, so to see any of the Apostles outside of conference was really fun! We are so blessed to have them, and to live in Utah to have these fun experiences where we can get the chance to see them at different events like the BYU game :) (I mean, let's be realistic, you only see apostles at special places, right? General Conference, the Temple, BYU games.. ;)

Although the BYU game was fun, I would say just those few seconds that we got to see them was the highlight of the night!

This morning all Kennedy wanted to do was go outside, "Outside Mommy! Outside!' So while Lucas took his nap I let her take her ball out and play for a few minutes. She had good timing, because it has been raining ever since we came in.

She was none stop running, jumping, kicking the ball, pointing out every motorcycle, truck or airplane we she could hear or see, and chasing after the ball in the wind until I had to bribe her to come inside to get some juice and check on Lucas.

I know everyone says this, and I hated it when people said it to be growing up,, but look how big she is getting! She is growing up so fast! I can't believe it!

Yup, I love her!

PLANE!!

Yup! You should be jealous! We all got our own private air plane ride from my sister's brother in law Scott!We were in Logan for a wedding, and went to my sisters house after, she also had some of her in-laws in town.
Her brother-in-law Scott, who has his own plane, ( may I add,that he built it himself..) offered to give us each a ride!It was a blast!
Scott was an amazing pilot, he was telling you everything that was happening, before it happend, what to expect, and showing you how things work.
I never had a panic feeling of whats happening! He was great!Seriously.. the best roller coaster ride I have EVER been on!!
I took the camera up with me and tried to get some cool pics while we were doing barrel rolls, and big loops.
Its kinda hard to tell but.. its easiest to fallow the sky to see the loop.. not the best but you get the idea.. maybe next time..jk hah ;)He had a video camera going the whole time facing the passengers seat.
(Andrew is dying to see it! Haha It would be fun to see our reactions to the different tricks and flying we got to do!)So we put Kennedy in the plane for a picture.. and as you can tell.. she didn't love that idea.. hah But Lucas as always loved all the noise and excitement!

SNOWBIRD 2011 - picture overload

My family has been coming up to Snowbird for years! It has been a place of many MANY fun memories!! This year is most likely our last, so we were sure to party it up! and do all our favorite things at snowbird!!

Well for me.. it did.

Worst. Feeling. Ever.

I thought for sure my diamond was GONE. LOST. We had hiked to the top of the mountain that day, and swam all afternoon.. I had no nope.
I was an emotional wreck.Until.. my wonderful Husband came walking in the room with it in hand!! He found it!!
On the shower mat in the bathroom!! What are the chances!?
Well, the good new is that it's now all fixed and better! Yay!
I called the diamond loss my snowbird jinx!
Snowbird has a lot of meaningful events that have happened to me/us through the years..
me having surgery issues, pregnancy issues,Andrew having his first and latest allergic reaction.

But my favorite, and most memorable...Andrew proposed!

She's 2

2 birthday parties for the 2 year old!

My parents had us over Monday night because they had a church thing on her Birthday, it was good because we also got to have Logan and Elisabeth there before they flew home to Alabama :)

So Kennedy got a lot of her favorite things for her parties, watermelon, cup cakes, frosting, more watermelon, strawberries, chicken nuggets, juice boxes, corn on the cob, cheese, and watermelon. :)

She loved her shopping cart and new baby from Grandma & Grandpa! She won't stop pushing it around! Thanks again!
The Big Day...

We started off the morning with painting our fingers and toes!
(which she LOVES and hold so so still... If she had it her way this would be a daily ritual)Due to her excitement, after her 3 hour nap she woke up with most her finger nail polish off her fingers, (a bit gross I know, she bit it off)Because it was her day and she kept asking we painted them again :)We meet my sister Lizzie and her kids at Mcdonolds so she could play the big toy and eat some chicken nuggets.

Then for Party # 2

So, we of course had some more of her favorites here,

Kennedy LOVES painting her nails, jumping, pushing a baby in a stroller, and drinking juice boxes.
So... we put it to a relay race! Best time won... candy and bragging rights!

You start by painting one nail,
any color of your choice...

then strapping the baby in the stroller...

push the stroller around the circle, 1 1/2 times..10 jumps with the jump rope,sing happy birthday to the birthday girl...

run back to start..

drink the juice box until its all gone!

It was way fun!! Thanks to everyone who came!! It was a blast!

Round Up.. Round Down...

My little baby boy is getting so big, 13 weeks to be exact...as much as I LOVE watching him grow up, (I do!) I still want him to stay my baby (for a little while that is ;)
I love how he will still sleep on my chest, and his whole body fits there! You can still hold him in a cradle when he is awake, and he will just look at you, and smile...
Just little things I love about babies!

I was kinda sad when it went from weeks to months.
If people asked how old he was I would say 7 weeks, and they would respond, "Oh so 2 months?"
I find myself wanting to round down, when people ask, for instance about a week ago, I would say "Just over 2 months," then Andrew would respond "Actually he's 3 months in 2 days!"
I want him to stay little. :) I am NOT ready to say that I have a 4 month old, that just seems not so baby anymore... I know I am weird.

So, on the flip side, when I was pregnant I always rounded up..
How many weeks are you? (In reality I would be 25 weeks 1 day) And I would say " Just about 26!"Weird how that happens.
I don't know why, but that week meant so much! Hah and when people would ask months, it was always a round up too! 7 weeks pregnant I was definitely 2 months! So I don't know if I am confessing that I have a bit of a lying problem or that I am a weirdo.
But does this happen to anyone else? Or am just a lying weirdo? hah
P.S I just love this little big boy :)

Hair...

So Lucas got his first hair cut... You may think he doesn't have any hair to cut... but he does have some.. just hard to see. :)

not a big drastic cut, you see.. he just grows his long thick hair right by his neck.. MULLET, so I just blended his little mullet up to his bald spot a little better.. I have a feeling I might do more, I know its hart to tell in this pic that I even took any off...but at the rate Kennedy's hair grows I am scared to cut any more off! :)

So Kennedy's hair got its first french braid! I know it doesn't look great, but I am super excited about it!
I am going to try a different one tomorrow, so hopefully it works better :) I can't wait until she gets more hair, especially when it starts growing on the sides.. hah Andrew says our kids have PREceding hair lines.. and its true!

Trek

This last May we changed wards, we went from the BYU 98th Student Married Ward to the Suncrest 7th Family Ward. It has been a good experience for us, we have felt really welcomed, needed, and loved. The 2nd week in the ward, we got 3 callings. I got called to be a Visiting Teaching coordinator, Andrew got called to be a the 11 year Scout leader.... and last of all we both got called to be Ma's and Pa's on the stake upcoming Trek!

I was really excited to go! I had a wonderful experience when I went, and Andrew had never had a chance to go! So they were excited we moved in! They put us to work fast!

This is our family! Since we have only been in the ward we didn't know any of the youth, so this was a great chance to get to know the ward a bit. Unlike the Trek I went to, our 'Family' was all kids from our ward. Can I say that we were EXTREMELY impressed with them, in so many ways!
Here are the boys, and the girls...
So we left Thursday morning, and loaded up on buses, and once we got to Hardware Ranch we loaded up our wagons and started to Trek... we went about 4 Miles that day, set up camp, and spent the night dancing.
Day 2 was H.A.R.D we left camp and went out to the bottom of a canyon... yup, we went up it! It was a hard hike, so you can just imagine how much harder it would be with a hand cart. It was narrow and extremely rocky because of all the run off this year. We were lucky enough to be the first cart in the line up because we had some oxen in our family! We left everyone in the dust!

We did have a Mob come and attack us, threaten to 'kill us' and ask the kids why we were here, what was our purpose to trek across the land, and what the 'gold bible' was all about. It really got all the kids thinking why we did this, and why they sacrificed so much for what they believed. It was cool to hear about it later in our testimony meeting.
Then we got to do a water crossing, which was way fun! When we got back we all jumped into the river because we were dying of heat!
(Yes, that is Andrew doing a push up in the water..)Our Family name was the 7 Dwarfs - We are the 7th Ward, with 7 'kids'

The last day was the Women's Pull up a killer steep hill.. Which I don't have any pictures back from the stake yet, but it was a great experience! We have some really good kids in our ward.
We came away with a great appreciation for what the Pioneers did, and all they sacrificed! We are really luck to have all that we have. It also made me want to keep a better Journal, which I have decided I will just use this blog as. So that is why I have put a little more detail into this post, so I can look back and remember this experience!

Anyway I had a great birthday! My family went boating on Saturday
(Thank you so much to my sweet in-laws for letting us use there Dad boats:)
Then on Monday we went to Trafalga, then the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point, then to dinner, the bowling! It was great!

We had a busy, but fun weekend last weekend!

Andrews parents came in town for 2 graduations and 2 baby blessings.. one of each was for us; Andrew and Lucas! I am sooo proud of Andrew! And so is Kennedy...Then on Sunday the Weber family had 2 blessings, my cute nephew Gavin, and that evening we blessed Lucas at my Parents house! I am so so extremely grateful for the Priesthood, It was a sweet blessing and I am so glad I have that in my life!Sweet Lucas! We Love sooo Much!

Overall it was a great weekend!!

Spoiled Easter

Growing up in my house, Easter morning our baskets would be at the top of the stairs, and before anyone could get the candy that was lined down the stairs, in EVERY corner, along any ledge, picture, on every piano key, if it had a edge, it had candy! Literallyeverywhere.. It was a race, with 9 kids (more so WOODY) if you wanted any candy you have to fend for yourself and go as fast as you can.

We spent the night before Easter at my parents. We were the only kids in the house.
We woke up in the morning to find one Easter basket at the top of the stairs..
but enough candy for 9 kids. :) My cute Mom was the Easter bunny for a one kid, Kennedy, a 1 year old.She thought it was the best day ever! Candy EVERYWHERE and 3 adults cheering her on to pick it all up and put it in her basket.Danger, upon coming home from church Kennedy found a pile of jellybeans that she hadn't discovered yet.. as she started to choke on the overload of joy, Andrew pulled (pried) 11 jellybeans out (not including the ones that made it down her throat ;) I love celebrating Easter! Its a wonderful holiday, my favorite part is all the Easter songs! Our Savior has done some much for us and I am so grateful for his life, and all his sacrifices for me.

Meeting Lucas

Well we were lucky enough to come home after 24 hours in the hospital, I was feeling great, and so was he, not that I had anything against staying there, It just felt good to be home.I think its safe to say that... Kennedy LOVES him... She would probably give him ALL day long if I would let her, I sometimes worry that she is going to smother him, or brake his ribs, because she wants to lay on him.. and hug him.. :)

Yeah I have 2 kids....Thank you everyone who came down to visit us!!

Here are some pictures that my Dad took. If you wanna see.. but I am going to document the labor a little just for my own journal's sake :)

So we got to the hospital at 6:30 am, we got all dressed, checked in and in our room about 7:15. After lots of questions the nurse checked me and I was dilated to a 3 and 70% effaced. She hooked me up to an IV and gave me a small dose of Oxytocin, (7:45 am) and I immediately started having contractions every 2-3 min. Yay! I knew I was planning on getting an epidural, so the nurse advised me to get it while the anesthesiologist was free, so I got the epidural at 9:00 am. Dr. Howard came in to check up on me at about 9:20 and broke my water when I was dilated to a 5 and 80%. By 10:00 AM I was at a 7 and 90%. That went fast! :) As Dr. Howard left the room he said, "Yeah, this baby will be here before lunch for sure." That got me all excited, so we started having everyone place their bets as Andrew wrote them on the white board. Even Dr. Howard and Debbi, our nurse, got in on the bets. (which the nurse guessed exactly... but she did get to cheat a little bit, she was hurrying everyone out, and getting us ready so she could win, we loved her by the way :)
So just before 11 Dr. Howard came in and checked me. I was at a 9+, so they went and grabbed their stuff. It was then that Kennedy got to come in and say Hi really quick just before the big birthday party!
So once we were all set up, just a few quick pushes and he was out! 8lbs 3oz and 21 in long! Such a big chubby boy! :)

I honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect labor! It was so fast, super enjoyable, and everyone was healthy and happy! I love the staff at that hospital, and I was really glad that my Dr. was in town. He is great! I am so so grateful!
Everything was great! I am so blessed.

Coaching

So... This is probably news for most of you... Rachel and I are the new Viewmont High School cheer coaches. (She is the head coach, and I am her assistant) We have been best friends since 9th grade and cheered at Viewmont together all through high school. We are so SO excited to do it! We had tryouts this weekend and it was definately crazy to be on the other end of everything.They did great! We had a little get together after & it was fun to get to know the girls/boy a bit. We took a squad of 18, which for Viewmont is small.. But Rachel, Hollie and I are way excited, We've got a talented bunch, & I think they will be really good! Anyway, It will be super fun & super crazy busy!(yes.. lots of traveling back & forth for me.) But I can't wait to get to know the girls more and start practices! (after the baby comes of course :) Who would have thought that 5 years after being cheerleaders for Viewmont we would be coaching :)

There is nothing I love more than feeling a little baby move, grow and kick inside of me. It is something that I missed so much when I wasn't pregnant. It truly is a miracle that a little human can grow inside me.
I love laying down on the couch and just watching my stomach twist and turn, seeing big and small bulges go up & down, in & out like its some sort earth quake forming mountains and hills in my tummy!
I think the coolest trick in the world is to place a book on my belly and watch it wobble until it is eventually kicked off by a future soccer player that is approximately 2-4 lbs.
I could sit all day and play the guessing game on what I think is the bum, and legs, arm and ohhh.. an elbow, knee, or foot that just I chased across my stomach.
I love it. I am one of those people who honestly enjoys being pregnant!
I do have to say though, this pregnancy has been very, very different than my experience with Kennedy.
Much like Kennedy's personality is now, she was very fun, and 100% enjoyable in the womb.
She would move a lot, almost like she was dancing. Very girly. Rarely did I have any painful experiences that I can recall and not one contraction/braxton hicks until she decided to come.
(given she was my first full term pregnancy so I didn't have much to compare it too)
But... Boy, am I excited to meet the little guy I have inside me now.
I wake up at least once a night to a karate kick to the ribs, or side. Some of them almost take my breath away.
If you press on my tummy at all, he will push right back. (& it's not always a soft push)
He will definately let me know if I have been sitting too long, or holding Kennedy too long. It's not too soon before she (& my side) get a few kicks until the pressure of her is gone! :)
I love it! I truly do!
He has been like this since I first started to feel little butterfly kicks.
Now that I am in my last month, he has decided that this crowded space is a bit much. He knows all my soft spots. He knows that the center line down my stomach where my abs once were are now split, and he just loves to push out as hard as possible!
I keep dreaming that he is going to burst through one of these times, a little hand or foot is going to split though my belly button!
Yesterday was a busy busy day for him. I think he is living life like a gerbil in a spinning cage and his is just going going and going. Spinning in lots of circles but staying in the same spot.
I have never felt this way before, I hurt. After about noon every move he made was painful. I think he bruised me internally :)
By the time Andrew came home and put his hand on my stomach I about flipped a brick! What the What!? I was tender on the outside, and inside.
So he had to settle with just watching the mountains move and bulge out of my stomach with his eyes, and listen to my moans with his ears :) I love him!
I have a feeling this kid is going to be an active one!
One thing I am extremely grateful for is I never go 5 minutes without feeling a distinct big movement. I know he is alive and that brings me a lot of comfort!
I can't wait to meet him! I am in shock that I have less than a month. Although at times I feel large and completely uncomfortable, I know that I will soon be missing all of this! From the karate kicks, and power punches, to the little hick-up jumps and tickling of the ribs. I know my lack of sleep won't be due to contractions, or uncomfortable positions, It will be soothing & snuggling a perfect little newborn.
Yes, you should be jealous!

So a while back my cute sister in law gave us there old toddler bed. It has been great! Kennedy transferred from her crib better than I expected. (although she rarely sleeps in the right way)

But lately she has learned that she doesn't have to stay in her bed, she can walk around, open the drawers pull all her clothes out, read books, and my favorite.. knock on the door. I find her asleep at the foot of the door all the time... kinda sad, but I think its adorable,but with all this fun and freedom in her room I have found her dead asleep in a lot of funny places in her room.. I wish I had taken a picture of all of them, but here are some.

So, I know I said we had a happy Sunday 3 weeks ago, and we did! But the last two Sundays have gone very differently..

Last week she screamed ALL night (which is so so unlike her) and nobody could soothe her (unless your name is Ben), so after a trip to the insta-care we discovered we were dealing with a horrible ear ache. Then on our drive home we witnessed a car accident. It was an eventful Sunday, that's for sure.
Then yesterday morning she was acting fine when I put her down for a nap. I heard her coughing in her room for a while so I went to check on her only to discover her laying in her throw up. Poor girl, she had a rough day yesterday. Had a fever that stayed around 100 and she couldn't stop shaking.

So lately Kennedy has become more independent and has to feed herself. She won't eat anything off a spoon unless she is holding it. Which is fine for most foods, but for some foods, (yogurt, mush & soup) that she loves... I have been avoiding, well.. more like trying to find other food or ways around her feeding it to herself for reasons like this...But hey, she has got to learn one day right!?

This last week I have never been so extremely grateful for my wonderful, perfect little girl Kennedy. My Savior Jesus Christ, The Gospel and plan of salvation. And my Family.

I have been up in Centerville helping my Mom do the funeral announcements and program for Bennett Scott Wilkinson. He was just 3 months older than Kennedy, and he passed away in his sleep.
I had the chance to go through all the pictures that they had of him with his Mom. My heart aches for her. She is amazing. I can't imagine the thought of losing Kennedy. I can not imagine the pain they are feeling. As I worked on the video I felt like I got to know him in a way. From the stories she told me and the cute personality that showed in the photos, I can't stop from holding back the tears. It has made me cherish the little time on earth I have had with Kennedy so much more. I just want to hold her in my arms as long as I can!As I listened to them talk today in the funeral I was overcome. They are amazing. It made me realize that I take everything Kennedy does for granted. From her jibber jabber and cute giggle to getting her out of the crib in the morning and helping me with dishes and sweeping. I am so grateful for her. Her cute fun personality and spirit is addicting and is changing my life for the better daily. I couldn't ask for a more perfect angel in my life.
Yesterday I went to my cute sister-in-law Laura's, grandfather's funeral. As I listened and saw his family rejoice in his life, and see his posterity I couldn't help but feel blessed with my own family. It's amazing how one person can effect so many lives. I am so grateful that I get to be with them forever.
There are already 3 brothers that I can't wait to see on the other side. I couldn't ask for better uncles to watch over and prepare my little Boy before he meets us. :)
I am so grateful for the knowledge that families can be together forever.

I thought that maybe writing this down would help me stop from crying.. alas.. it has made it worse. :) I will just have to blame it on the pregnancy now :)

Andrew turned 25 on Tuesday! We had a way fun day!
He stayed up until midnight to open his presents :) After work we went to dinner at Tepanyakis (way fun!) and then bowling! Kennedy found it to be one of her new favorite activities :)

We have had a way fun December so far!

We had 2 baby nephews in 2 days!!
Benson Steven Andersonon the 15th (my sister Mollie newest)

Gavin Ancel Weberon the 16th (Andrews brother Jake newest)
SOOO FUN! We LOVE BABIES!! YAY! We are so excited!! They are both amazing families!
We started it off by going up to Snowbird, and spending a few nights up there with some people in my family. It was Fun! Andrew always has to add in something to remember the trip by it seems.. he had an allergic reaction on the mountain (I am going to post about that later.)

and Kennedy got to have her first experience in the snow :)

Then we had the chance to go to the Festival of Trees, Which was a first for Andrew, and Kennedy.
I love it! I love to hear the stories and see the trees, and gingerbread houses.
It inspired us to come home and put up our tree (seeing as last year we didn't)
And to my surprise Kennedy does really good with it! She loves it!

Anyway, Hope you all have had a good December so far and have a Wonderful Christmas!

My niece Myriam turned 8 and got baptized this month. The baptism was amazing! After we had a Birthday party for both Myriam and Holland,She asked for a tiered cake, and my mom and I have always wanted to try using fondant, so we did. My sister in law Robyn came over and helped save us :) I did the bow, And Robyn did the flowers...

It was way fun, almost addicting.. I want to make another one... soon. :)

Yesterday Andrew and I celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary.We went out to dinner to the Melting Pot. It was a first for both of us, and it was soo good!

We loved it!Although our wedding day was a bit hectic... It was the best day of my life! It's fun to relive/remember :)

See that scar on his head? Yes, it is cool, and we did it with rubber cement. We also did it on his arms, and mine (when we were practicing... You'll want to know that for later) SO... since I am a huge fan of dressing up for Halloween I went as the bride of Frankenstein to dinner with him that night. He was ALL OUT dressed up so I did my hair, and thought, hmm... since she has a scar going from ear to ear under her neck I will do the same thing... since the rubber cement looks good on Andrew, I will do it too.

I put it on.. a few minutes later it starts to tingle, then burn. So I call Andrew,".. did yours burn and tingle this bad?" He said that it kinda had so I left it on for a few more minutes.

Eventually I couldn't take it anymore so I took it off..

My neck was red and a little burnt, but I thought for sure it would go away, no biggie.

Connecticut

Kennedy and I had the chance to go back and visit Andrew's parents in Connecticut for a week.

It was a BLAST! I am in love with the fall there. SERIOUSLY SO PRETTY!! And people back there were all obsessed with Kennedy. She was like a movie star! EVERYWHERE we went people commented about her, wanted to talk to her, know how old she was, her name.. oh she is so cute! In all honesty we got stopped about 30+ times just in Costco. Hah! I don't think they see many babies there :)
Heck, I will be the first to say she is the most adorable baby in the world, but I think there is a crowd of about 100 in Connecticut that would agree after their reactions to her! :) It was a good first "trip" for her.. Lots of fun new things...

Here are some highlights of the trip.
First Flight..
The night we left (11:45 pm landing in NY at 5:45 am)
Sleepy eyes...And of course she would not fall asleep in my arms.... but under my seat... We went to a pumpkin patch for the first time... She loved it :)
Went on her first ferry ride to Gillette castle I was trying to capture how beautiful it was.. The picutres don't do it justice. But you get the idea.. :)Spent a day at Grandpa's work (the Institute at Yale)Took a campus tour of YaleGrandma and Kennedy in front of the house playin in the leaves... Grandpa was so excited to buy his first article of pink clothing!
(guess when you have 6 boys you don't get to buy many pink things...)Then we went to Sharon, Vermont to see the birth place of Joseph Smith
A first for both of us..Did I mention how BEAUTIFUL it is there.. Gosh! I honstly feel in love! I love all the trees, and the fall colors were amazing...On the way home we stoped at Sugar Bush Farm where they make pure maple syrupoh and pet a cow for the first time... Kinda random I know..Then we went to the ocean for another first for KennedyShe loved the board walk...Then we went to a fancy restaurant in Mystic for dinner.. and wow.. she was a show stopper here.. Not only did they give us one of the best seats in the house looking over the river, the whole restaurant wanted to hold her, one of the girls told me if we lived there she would bribe us to come in more often so they could see her.. during our whole meal they would try and get her attention and she LOVED it.. playing peek a boo from a distance.. the works. It was so funny. When we left Grandpa said, "Now I know what it's like to go to dinner with someone famous!" It was great!So yes.. this is their drive way.. gorgeous I know.. my pictures don't do this place justice. I loved it. The perfect place to experience fall.Now for the ride home.. If she isn't the cutest carry-on.. I don't know what is! :) She loved the plane!! We were very very lucky to have super nice people by us that of course loved Kennedy! :) Now, If that doesn't just top the trip off, We came home to a clean house, which I was happy about, but it gets better.. yes my wonderful husband even paid to get the carpets cleaned! And got me these awesome flowers.. (Yes they are red sunflowers..) and Yes, I LOVE HIM! We missed him lots, but it was a great trip! Thanks again to Grandma and Grandpa Weber for having us!

That is right, I said PONYTAIL! The top of Kennedy's hair is FINALLY long enough to put in a tiny tiny PONYTAIL! I am pretty EXCITED.. and so is she.. if you cant tell.. :) And yes, You might be able to notice, she has upgraded to RUNNING..

School

So.. Its official... I don't have a husband.(or so it feels)

He leaves in the morning(some mornings before Kennedy and I wake up) and comes home anytime after
7 until 9:30pm, then he has to study....
And I am the one complaining! I shouldn't be, He does so much for me...
Poor guy, his work is now in Draper and his commute from work to school has doubled,
(60-90+ miles a day)
with about 3 classes (morning, noon, and night) a day,
driving back and forth so he can get enough hours to stay full time to keep insurance for us.
To top it off having a super long prep class on Saturday mornings/afternoon.
with the GMAT in Oct.
And then hes at church for 7 hours on Sundays...
(No sleeping in for him. at all..)
He is a busy guy, and I am so lucky to be home with Kennedy,
seriously, I feel so blessed.
I know that we have it easy compared to some of you,
At least he is in the same state, let alone country.. and I know he is safe!
I am just a lonely wife/mom who misses her husband! (and needed to vent...)
Don't get me wrong, I know this is only temporary, I see the end in sight!
My life is truly great! I honestly wouldn't trade it for anything!
It just makes me value the time I do get with him...
OH HOW I LOVE HIM!

Only 94 days until school this semester is over,
and 245 days until he GRADUATES! :)
but who's counting..?

Then Masters..
But we won't talk about that now...

time for an upgrade..

My little tiny girl turned ONE so it qualified her to go to a new car seat.

She has out grown her old one... and has fallen IN LOVE with her new one! (and so have I:)Doesn't she look HUGE!?

Summer at the Cabin

As most of you know, Andrew's parents moved to Connecticut to teach at Yale. So this summer Andrew and his brothers took care of the cabin, taking turns going up, cleaning up the yard and such.

Kennedy got to ride with dad a few times on the lawn mower... and loved it, seriously.. couldn't get her off..

The first time Kennedy and I went up was with Jake, Megan and their kids for a race in Jackson Hole. It was way fun. Andrew got 2nd place
We had some of my family up for a week, some came back and forth when they could for different activities.. we went river rafting down the snake river, IT WAS A BLAST!! Went to Bar J Ranch, and Jackson, did some fishing, hiking, 4 wheeling, slip n slide, (this is my nephew Ben going down)

(yes they are slowing him down because he was going so fast!)
shot gun shooting, iPading (if that's a word) grave visiting,toe nail painting, oh a sad note about toes.. Haley "Weber"(my sister, Haley Rencher) slipped down the spiral stair case and broke her toe! Sad.. huh..and did I mention we did some eating :)(Happy Birthday Dad!)

It was a way fun week!! And we owe Andrew's parents for letting everyone come up!

Due to my Moms amazing photoshop skills she compiled a family picture of everyone!(bet you can't tell who all wasn't originally wasn't there!)

We went up just recently for the last time this summer and got some one on one time with Grandma Weber!

She talked the neighboors into letting Andrew and I use their horses.. Little do they know that letting me once.. got me addicted.. So I have a feeling I will be back. :)
It was way fun to spend time with her and make some good memories
before she goes back to Connecticut!Have I mentioned how much I LOVE HIM!!Oh and this is him driving home...

WARNING: LONG POST!!

Yesterday my little angle baby turned ONE!I can not believe it! It truly has been the best year ever!
She is a PERFECT BABY! So its OK to be a little jealous! :)

The day was great!
She was as happy as can be all day long, inbetween her naps we went to 7 peaks and had a blast!The party was so much fun!
We had a BBQ and had a little Kennedy Trivia, (Jake, Adam and Kara tied to win)
My parents brought down the bounce house for the kids

Then had a bottle drinking contest....

It as hilarious...

Levi won by finally biting off the top.

Then for the traditional Ice Cream and Cake

We had cup cakes for the guests,

And a little cake for the one year old!

Had a rough begining, she burned her hand on the candle...

But it wasnt long before she started indulging...

Doesn't she looks so big standing up!? I can not believe it!!
She loved all the presents! Thanks to everyone that came! It was a blast!!!

Walking In Wyoming!

Last week we spent the week at Andrew's Family cabin in Wyoming. It was a blast, we did lots of fun things (I am sure I will post about that later) but the highlight for our little Weber family was Kennedy's first steps!! She's walking!!

New Calling...

My latest calling in my ward has been 4th Sunday Relief Society Teacher. I have learned to really LOVE it! So, as I was thinking/preparing my lesson this last week, on Saturday night I said to Andrew on our drive home. "I love how I don't get super stressed all Saturday night and all morning anymore, re running the lesson over and over in my head all during Sacrament and Sunday School, I finally feel comfortable knowing how to plan and how my sisters react to my lessons."

Sunday when Andrew came home from his meetings to pick Kennedy and I up for church he says, Bishop wants to see you 15 min before church. "Weird, Why?" I said, He just shrugged his shoulders.
Here I am thinking he wants to come in and talk to the sisters and take up some of his time with my lesson, which is A OK with me.
So we walk into his office, and he says "So right now your teaching 4th Sunday RS, How is that going for you?" I say "Great!" Well he says"We need some help in the Primary!"- (if you know me that is my cup of tea!) My eyes lit up! I get all excited!! Heck yes I am thinking.... then he goes on.. "Along with your current call, We want to extend the call of
Primary PIANIST!"
I at first thought it was a joke. I don't play the piano...(if you know me you probably know that) I can maybe play right hand when there is no sharps or flats.. maybe. The harp comes way easier to me than the paino...
So ha, I have lots and lots of learning to do!! First I need a book.. then figure out where and how I can learn to play the piano..
Its a good thing Andrew has a key to the church, I have a feeling we will be there A LOT!
Its also good thing there is only about 5 kids in our primary, so hopefully they wont care if I am a super beginner at the piano :)
I have always wanted to be in primary.. so I guess I will take what I can get!P.S That picture scares me... gulp!

We call it her angry eyes..
She just started doing it the other day.We think it is hilarious!
She does it at random times, random situations, and lately to just about everyoneBut of coarse, it is usually accompanied by a huge smile

It is way too much fun to stay at home with her
and watch her grow up and see her personality come out!

A little late I know, But we just got home from our first trip to Andrews family's cabin and took Kennedy to see her
Uncle Joseph and cousin Jack.I am so glad that we had a chance to go visit them.
I wish they were closer so we could visit them more. Some of Kennedy's cousins on my side on Memorial day with
Tanner and my Grandparents. Next up, Monument Valley.
Andrew and Kennedy still have to go visit Eric.But hey at least we are always thinking about them, and hopefully teach Kennedy all about our brothers who have passed on. We love and miss them.
