first try with fondant...

My niece Myriam turned 8 and got baptized this month. The baptism was amazing! After we had a Birthday party for both Myriam and Holland,She asked for a tiered cake, and my mom and I have always wanted to try using fondant, so we did. My sister in law Robyn came over and helped save us :) I did the bow, And Robyn did the flowers...

It was way fun, almost addicting.. I want to make another one... soon. :)

Ok, I mean this in the NICEST way possible - but sometimes I really hate you and your mom with all your stinking talents!! That is the cutest cake I think I have EVER seen - I am going to employ you to make JD's birthday cake - he wants a "cachow" cake (aka Lightening McQueen from the movie Cars) so get planning! :)

Wow, that looks like an intense process! At least you didn't tackle something like that on a first try alone. Super cute!
