California

So last weekend we had the chance to go to California for my cheerleaders competition.
It was a great experience.
I was lucky to have my family join me and we got to do some fun stuff along the way.

As far as cheerleading goes, we competed at Knotts Berry Farm, and it was NCAs West Coast Nationals. We had 5 co ed high school teams in our division, and we took 1st place.
(one  of the teams was from Utah, they actually beat us at state, but.... they ended up taking 4th here.)
out of all the 18 high school teams we won best tumbling over all,
and to top it off,
Grand Champions!
It was awesome!
I was crying like a baby :)
So after we were done, we got to go ride all the rides, since it rained all say we had no lines! It was so fun!
I didn't know anything about Knotts Berry Farm, but it was like Lagoon on steroids
(as far as big thriller rides go)
It was a blast!
Then the rest of the trip was just hanging out, shopping and playin!

We went to Disneyland all day Monday, shopping Tuesday then headed back that night.
Here are some pics. (some meaning a lot...)

Like our make shift double stroller? Yup, we are cool like that!

I love them.
(Ok so you might notice Lucas has a lot of funny face pictures this trip. It is awesome, He is adorable!)
Kennedy was SOOO excited to go see the princess she WILL NOT stop talking about the princesses..

Kennedy was SOOO excited to go see the princes she WILL NOT stop talking about the princess.. But just as we guessed. She was SO SHY and wouldn't talk or even smile at them, but the second we left, she would't stop talking about the princesses!

I love this picture. It says so much about the experience.

This is my favorite picture of this trip by far!
My Handsome Prince, with our little Princess...

Don't judge the experience by our kids look at there faces...

Trust me.. they liked it! :)
We went on Ariel's ride 3 times in a row. Kennedy was a bit obsessed.

So my kids are pretty light sleepers, and I was a bit worried how sleeping and naps might go.

But they adapted well as you can see...

My kids also LOVED the air plane.
They sat at the window and loved watching all the trucks and airplanes coming in and out. Great entertainment for kids :)

She did great! and Lucas, he did great once he fell asleep :) Luckily it didn't take long.

Yay I have had a wonderful time coaching, and am so grateful for the opportunity.
Truly I have learned a lot from these girls, and I know its kinda cheesy to say, but its true.
