Fathers & Sons - Girls night out

Michael (Andrew's brother) invited him and Lucas to go with them to a Fathers and Sons camp out.
Michael has an awesome job at Lofty Peaks where they do guided ATV & snowmobile tours and rentals
He brought up one of the Razors to play around with, so the 4 boys headed up a little early so they could have some fun time before the camp out began.

Of course Lucas loved everything about it.
"Sleep in a TENT!"
"camp fire.. marshmallows!"
"RAZOR... go really FAST!"

Lucas slept on one of the rides, so to keep his head from bouncing around Andrew got creative and put his goggles from his head all the way behind the seat... Hey, it worked!

The boys had a blast! Lucas talked about it for ever..
Thanks Michael for taking them!!

While the boys were camping, Kennedy and I had some way fun one-on-one girls time.
I took her to go see a movie, which she was giddy about because I don't think she had been in a movie theater since she was a few months old.
She picked the place for dinner, and then we came home and made homemade ice cream, and before her second bite, she was passed out asleep in my bed with me :)
I loved every second of it.

We started off by heading to Cherry Hill with one of Kennedy's favorite cousins, Lilly.

Then the two of us headed to dinner... at Dylan's... a first for both off us.

Then we walked down the street and went into our movie.

The next morning we woke up and headed down to Orem to go do Grandma's hair.

Kennedy and Grandma had fun, they got matching pink toenails, and she showed her how to crochet.
(My sweet mother in law broke her foot while helping Grandma Great clean her windows. So she has been off her feet for a while now.. It's so sweet to hear Kennedy and Lucas pray for her :)

Then off to visit Aunt Tiffany at the mall...
As you might guess this was probably the highlight.
Aunt Tiffany gave her a make over.

Thanks Aunt Tiffany!
In Kennedy's eyes, Aunt Tiffany has the best job ever!

Then we went and roamed the mall a bit before heading home.

It was a way fun weekend for all of us!

That is so awesome that Andrew took Lucas on his own little father-son camp out. And I think his ski mask idea is absolute genius!

And you are so darling to do such fun things with little Ken Ken. What fantastic parents you are.

I love the girls night. How fun. It gets me excited to do that sort of thing with Esther when she gets older. I love the diva photo shoot too! :)
